Posters are the workhorse of retail, event and office display. Platinum Signs prints posters on two substrates — premium 200gsm matte uncoated paper for indoor work, and Yupo synthetic paper (a tear-proof, waterproof polypropylene-based sheet) for any job that needs weather resistance. UV pigment ink on the large-format roll-fed press gives 6+ years indoor lightfastness and 2–3 years outdoor lightfastness on Yupo.
Yupo synthetic (200gsm / 250μm) is the right call for anything that gets wet, touched, cleaned, or sits outdoors. Real estate window displays in direct sun, bathroom/kitchen notices, event boards, construction hoardings — Yupo holds up. UV pigment ink is bonded onto the polypropylene surface so it won't crack or peel.
200gsm matte uncoated paper is the right call for indoor retail, office noticeboards, café menus and event programs. The matte surface gives a crisper print feel than synthetic — it reads more like a premium magazine cover than a sign. Not suitable for outdoor or humid environments.
