What's the difference between single-sided and double-sided?

Single-sided lightboxes illuminate one face and mount flat against a wall — ideal when the sign is viewed head-on. Double-sided lightboxes illuminate both faces and project, hang, or suspend so they're read by traffic approaching from either direction — the classic choice for shop strips, awnings, and arcades.

Do I need an electrician?

For the rounded lightbox range, no — every unit ships with a 12V IP67 driver pre-wired to flex and a standard 3-pin plug, so a standard install is plug-and-play. Hardwired or concealed connections can be completed by any licensed electrician. For other styles, check the product page — power details are listed in each spec table.

Can you print my artwork?

Yes. Choose the printed graphics option in the configurator, place your order, then upload or email your artwork (PDF, AI, or high-resolution). Our design team checks the file and emails a proof for your approval before production starts.

Do you offer installation?

Yes — Sydney metro installs at $120/hr per installer (minimums apply depending on sign size and height). Melbourne, Brisbane, and Canberra installs are routed through our vetted contractor network. Installation is quoted separately so you can compare supply-only against full supply and install.

Do you offer trade pricing?

Yes. The rounded lightbox range has automatic volume discounts (3–5 units 5%, 6–10 units 10%, 11+ units 15%), and trade accounts are open to fitout companies, hospitality groups, franchise operators, and signage resellers. Email info@platinumsigns.com.au with your ABN and expected volume.
