A custom LED neon sign is a one-time spend that keeps earning — pulling people through the door, lifting perceived value, and showing up on every customer's phone in your venue. Here's the commercial case.

Illuminated storefront signage has been shown to lift walk-in traffic by up to 40% — neon is a physical call-to-action that's visible to every passer-by, day and night.

Neon signs are the single most Instagrammed element in modern hospitality and retail interiors. Every phone photo that goes up is free branded reach you didn't pay for.

An LED neon sign works when you don't. Evenings, weekends, public holidays — your brand stays lit, consistent, and on-message without staffing costs.

Neon changes how a venue reads. Fit-out, menu, and service all feel more premium against an illuminated brand wall — which gives you room on price without losing customers.

LED flex draws 8–12W per metre — a typical 600×400mm sign runs at under 30W. Eight hours a day costs about $2 a year in electricity. No bulbs to replace, no transformer maintenance.

Unlike traditional glass neon, LED flex is encased in flexible silicone — no heat, no fragile glass, no mercury. Safe around children, staff, and drinkers.
Every industry uses neon differently. Hospitality leans on logo + tagline combinations behind the bar. Retail picks sign placements that become the store's Instagram backdrop. Corporate reception uses halo-lit brand walls. These are the segments we make neon for most often — with notes on what works for each.

Logo signs over the bar, menu-special wall features, a cursive tagline by the till. Hospitality is our largest single segment — warm whites and pinks read best against timber and brick interiors.

Feature walls, drink-special neons, illuminated venue names, and RGB mood signs for DJ booths. Outdoor-rated IP67 for beer-garden installations.

Motivational quotes over mirrors, brand names on feature walls, studio names in warm whites for yoga/pilates, bolder RGB and reds for HIIT and CrossFit.

Signature-script brand logos, service-category headers, and Instagrammable photo corners. Pastel pinks and warm whites dominate this segment — matches the high-touch brand aesthetic.

Brand name over the entrance, category headers inside (WOMEN, SALE, NEW), illuminated slogans near the till. Boutique fashion leans into neon harder than any other retail vertical.

Couple names + date, hashtags for socials, bar signage, and arch features. Wedding neons are our fastest turnaround — most delivered in 7–10 days for event dates within a month.

Scripture verses, community greetings, feature-wall artwork, youth-group hang-out signage. Often warm whites + low-brightness dimmer settings for atmospheric lighting.

Logo behind reception desks, meeting-room names as halo-lit neon, brand walls for video-call backgrounds. Corporate work usually pairs neon with ACM or brushed-metal backers for a premium architectural finish.

RGB dynamic signs, gamer-tag personalisation, logo walls for streaming setups, arcade-style feature signage. Flow RGB and multi-colour dominate here.

Welcome signs at entry, room names, feature walls for photo-ops. Boutique hotels are the fastest-growing segment — guests photograph and share, which drives organic bookings.
Our Logo-to-Neon service handles complex brand artwork, trademarked wordmarks, and multi-colour logos. Upload and our design team returns a written quote within 24 hours.
LED flex neon has replaced traditional glass neon as the standard for custom signage worldwide. Compared to glass tube neon, LED flex uses 80% less power, produces no heat, is unbreakable in normal handling, and delivers a genuinely identical glow quality from two metres away. Our neon signs are designed on our 3D configurator, colour-matched in pre-press, hand-bent in our Sydney factory onto 5mm cast acrylic backers, and ship Australia-wide with delivery Australia-wide.
Because every sign is custom-bent to your artwork, we work with you through the design phase — our team reviews every save for letter spacing, tube-bending feasibility, and visual balance before production starts. Fonts that look good on screen don't always look good in neon (thin script, sharp corners, and very tight letter-spacing cause problems); we'll suggest tweaks that keep your design identity while making sure the finished sign looks the way you pictured it.
Choosing between LED neon, traditional glass neon, and face-lit 3D letters comes down to look, lifespan, and install complexity. LED flex is the standard choice for modern custom signage. Glass neon still exists for heritage restorations but costs 4-5x more and requires specialised handling. Face-lit or halo-lit 3D letters give a premium architectural feel for corporate branding. Here's how the common illuminated-sign options compare:
| Sign type | Lifespan | Best use |
|---|---|---|
| LED flex neon (our default) | 50,000–100,000 hrs | Retail, hospitality, interior feature, shopfront |
| Glass neon tube | 15–20 years | Heritage restoration, specialty art installs |
| Face-lit 3D letters | 10+ years | Architectural facade, corporate reception |
| Halo-lit 3D letters | 10+ years | Premium corporate, architectural lobby |
| Slimline LED lightbox | 10+ years | Menu boards, corporate directory, POS |
Every sign ships with a wall-mount kit (pre-drilled holes in the acrylic backer, matching screw hardware, cable management channel, and install template). DIY installation is genuinely straightforward — drill four holes, feed the power cable to the nearest outlet, connect, hang. For commercial shopfronts, hospitality venues, or any install above head-height, we recommend booking our Sydney install crew: $120/hr per installer (2-installer minimum for signs above 1500mm wide or ceiling work, 3-hour call-out minimum per visit). For hard-wired installs where the plug is hidden inside the wall cavity, final electrical connection must be completed by a licensed electrician — we supply the sign pre-configured for hard-wire with an appropriate junction-box termination.
LED flex neon needs almost zero maintenance. A dry microfibre cloth occasionally handles dust build-up on the tube and backer. Avoid solvent-based cleaners — they can yellow the silicone tube coating over time. Every sign ships with a wired inline dimmer so you can match brightness to ambient light conditions (retail at full brightness, intimate hospitality at 30%, overnight security-light at 10%). For RGB signs, the included IR remote stores 16 preset colours plus programmable fade and strobe modes. For multi-site hospitality or retail rollouts where consistent brightness matters across venues, we can supply DMX-compatible controllers for centralised programming.
Every neon sign is designed, hand-bent, and wired in our own factory. We don't outsource to offshore suppliers, so the design you approve on 3D mock-up is the sign that ships — batch-to-batch colour consistency is genuinely achievable across multi-site rollouts. Our design team reviews every custom shape for tube-bending feasibility before we price the job, so the quote you get is the quote you pay — no "oh actually that font won't bend" surprises during production. For hospitality groups, retail fitout companies, franchise brands, and marketing agencies ordering repeat neon work, our trade account programme unlocks 15% off list plus net-30 payment terms once approved at /account/trade-application.
Our Standard LED neon is rated for 50,000+ hours of use (~17 years at 8 hrs/day). Our Premium LED is rated for 100,000+ hours. Both carry manufacturer warranties.
Standard LED signs include a 2-year manufacturer warranty. Premium LED signs include a 5-year warranty. Warranty covers faulty manufacture; outdoor misuse on non-IP67 signs voids warranty.
Standard delivery: 10–14 business days. Express: 7–10 business days (+$50). Rush: 5–7 business days (+$120, subject to capacity).
Yes — delivered Australia-wide. Sydney metro same-day pickup is available by arrangement. Interstate shipped via Transdirect (2–5 business days in transit).
Yes — tick the IP67 Outdoor option. This adds a waterproof silicone coating that makes the sign suitable for covered outdoor installations (shopfronts, patios). Not recommended for direct rain exposure.
Every sign ships with a wall mount kit and pre-drilled holes for DIY install. Sydney metro pro install is available: 2 installers × 2 hrs minimum + $60 call-out. EWP/scissor lift and existing signage disposal quoted separately.
Yes with RGB Multi-Colour (+10%) or Flow RGB Animated (+15%). Both include a remote. Single-colour tubes are fixed at the colour shown.
Yes — signage trade customers get 15% off plus net-30 payment terms once approved. Apply at /account/trade-application.
Hit 'Save design' and our team will review. If the shape or font isn't ideal for neon bending, we'll suggest tweaks before production starts. No charge for reasonable revisions.
Yes — use the 'Logo to Neon' path (top right button). We'll convert your logo to a production-ready neon design and send you a 3D mock-up within 24 hours.
Very little — LED neon uses roughly 8-12W per metre of tube. A typical 600mm x 400mm sign draws under 30W total. Running 8 hours a day, that's around $2 per year in electricity. Every sign ships with a 12V or 24V DC power supply matched to the tube length.
Yes. Every sign ships with a plug-in DC adapter by default. For permanent commercial installs (shopfronts, reception walls, hospitality venues), we can supply hard-wire-ready signs with appropriate ceiling-rose or junction-box connections. Specify at order — hard-wire installs require a licensed electrician for final connection.
Standard is 5mm clear acrylic cut to the tube outline (looks like the neon is floating on air). Alternatives: coloured acrylic (black, white, matte finish), rectangular or shaped full-panel backing, illuminated acrylic that diffuses light, or mounted onto solid ACM or brushed metal for premium commercial installs. All options shown in the calculator.
Yes for flex-tube colours — we match to the closest Pantone or brand-guide reference during pre-press. For RGB multi-colour signs, exact Pantone matching isn't possible (LED RGB has a fixed gamut) but we get within 95% of most brand colours. Ask for a colour proof on actual tube stock before production for critical brand work.
Yes — commercial installs are our core business. For hospitality venues, retail fitouts, and shopfront signage, we supply IP67 outdoor-rated signs with commercial-grade mounting hardware, certified electrical connections, and on-site Sydney install. For multi-site rollouts (franchise brands, hotel groups), we offer project coordination and consistent batch colour matching across all sites.
