Arc Flash, NFPA 70E PPE & Solar PV Labels for Australian Sites
Specialist signage for sites that have completed an arc flash hazard study or installed photovoltaic / battery infrastructure. Aimed at industrial facility managers, electrical contractors, solar installers, EV charging providers and switchboard manufacturers who need standards-aligned labelling for switchgear, MCCs, rooftop solar arrays and main switchboards. Manufactured in-house, shipped Australia-wide.
Engineered, not generic. The arc flash range covers NFPA 70E PPE Categories 1 through 4, plus a print-to-order site-engineered calculation label that takes your arc flash study output (incident energy, working distance, arc flash boundary, equipment ID, study date) and turns it into a panel-mounted label per NFPA 70E §130.5(H). For sites that haven't completed a study, the AS/NZS 4836:2023 generic warning sits alongside as a baseline cross-reference. Yellow WARNING and red DANGER variants only — orange-headed labels are US convention and not AS 1319 compliant; we don't stock them.
Full AS/NZS 5033:2021 solar PV family. Six labels covering every position the standard mandates: PV array DC isolator (yellow/black + triangle, located within 100mm of the disconnection point), main switchboard PV marker (green reflective ≥100mm Ø circle, the distinctive AS/NZS 5033 marker), PV string disconnection point, hazardous DC voltage roof / ceiling space access warning, conduit "SOLAR" identification marker (every ≤2m), and solar AC isolator label. UV-stable substrates rated for ≥25-year outdoor life — paper, standard vinyl and reflective-only-on-request materials are non-compliant for this category.
Standards stack, one supplier. Switchboard identification per AS/NZS 3000:2018 cl. 4.15 (Distribution Board, Sub-Board, Main Earth Point), RCD testing labels per AS/NZS 3760:2022 (date-tracked write-on, mounted adjacent to the RCD as the standard requires), and the arc flash plus PV ranges above.
