Custom asset labels with barcodes, QR codes, and sequential numbering. Available in UV direct printed aluminium, laser marked anodised aluminium, laser marked stainless steel, or UV printed polypropylene. Configure your label online, then review the artwork proof before production. Australian made.
Polypropylene asset labels from A$1.51 inc GST each at 500 labels. Your configured product total appears after calculation.
Track and identify your assets with custom-printed labels featuring barcodes, QR codes, DataMatrix codes, and sequential numbering. Our asset labels are manufactured in-house using UV printing or laser marking, depending on the selected material. Choose from four material and print method combinations to match your environment.
Design your label online with our instant configurator — select your material, size, code type, numbering sequence, and background colour. Review the live preview as you build; we then send an artwork proof before the labels enter production. Standard production is 10 business days, with a 3-business-day urgent production option.
Codes: QR Code, DataMatrix, Code 128, Code 39, or no code
Numbering: Sequential with custom prefix, start number, and suffix
Attachment: Permanent adhesive or pre-drilled holes
Protection: Optional clear overlaminate for harsh environments
Production: Standard 10 business days, urgent 3 business days
Common Applications
Asset labels are essential for IT asset management, fixed asset registers, equipment tracking, fleet management, tool tracking, furniture inventory, medical equipment identification, educational institution assets, property identification, and warehouse management systems.
Before production: We review the supplied configuration and artwork, then send a proof for approval. Delivery is quoted after address and packing review, with the charge confirmed before payment and production, or you can collect from our Botany workshop.
Material Comparison
Aluminium — UV Print
UV Direct Print
Full-colour UV direct printed aluminium labels. Vibrant graphics, logos and colour coding with excellent outdoor durability.
Best for: Full-colour labels, logos, outdoor assets, equipment
Anodised Aluminium — Laser
Laser Marking
Laser-etched markings on anodised aluminium. Sub-surface marking is highly resistant to chemicals, solvents, abrasion and UV.
Best for: Industrial environments, chemical exposure, high-wear areas
Stainless Steel — Laser
Laser Marking
Grade 304 stainless steel with laser-etched markings. Exceptional resistance to extreme temperatures, corrosion and harsh chemicals.
Best for: Marine, food processing, extreme heat/cold, corrosive environments
Polypropylene — UV Print
UV Direct Print
Full-colour UV printed polypropylene labels. Lightweight, flexible, and cost-effective with good chemical resistance.
Best for: General-purpose tracking, offices, warehouses, IT assets
We offer four options: Aluminium with UV direct printing (full-colour graphics and logos), Anodised Aluminium with laser marking (sub-surface etching for high-wear environments), Stainless Steel with laser marking (extreme chemical and temperature resistance), and Polypropylene with UV direct printing (cost-effective general-purpose labels). Each combination is chosen to suit different environments and requirements.
UV direct printing uses ultraviolet-cured inks applied to the surface — ideal for full-colour graphics, logos, and colour-coded labels. Laser marking etches directly into the material surface (or sub-surface on anodised aluminium), producing permanent markings that cannot be scratched or rubbed off. Laser marking is best for harsh environments; UV printing is best for visual impact.
We support QR Codes, DataMatrix (2D), Code 128, and Code 39 barcodes. QR codes and DataMatrix encode the most data in the smallest space and can be scanned with any smartphone. Code 128 and Code 39 are traditional linear barcodes compatible with all barcode scanners. Sequential numbering is included at no extra charge.
Yes. Upload your logo during the order process and we'll incorporate it into your label design. We accept PDF, AI, EPS, SVG, and high-resolution PNG/JPEG files. For best results, supply your logo as a vector file. A small surcharge of $0.55 per label applies for logo inclusion.
Enter a prefix (e.g. 'ASSET-'), a start number, and optionally a suffix. Each label in your order will be numbered sequentially from your start number, incrementing by 1. For example: ASSET-0001, ASSET-0002, ASSET-0003, etc. Custom numbering sequences are available on request.
39x15mm (Small) is ideal for cables, small IT peripherals, and tools. 49x20mm (Standard) is the most popular size for monitors, keyboards, and general assets. 65x30mm (Large) suits bigger equipment, furniture, and machinery where maximum readability is required.
The overlaminate is a clear protective film applied over the printed surface. It provides extra resistance against scratches, chemicals, solvents, and UV exposure. Recommended for UV-printed labels exposed to harsh environments or frequent handling. Not required for laser-marked labels as the marking is inherently permanent.
Standard production is 10 business days from artwork approval to dispatch. Urgent production (3 business days) is available for a 50% production surcharge. Delivery is confirmed separately from production timing; pickup from our Botany workshop is also available.
Contact our team with the material and environment you are considering. We will confirm what current samples are available before you place the production order.
Our labels use an aggressive permanent acrylic adhesive rated for metal, powder-coated, painted and most plastic surfaces. It won't lift under normal industrial conditions (oils, cleaning agents, temperature cycling). Removal after years of bonding may leave adhesive residue on some surfaces — for applications where clean removal is required, specify removable adhesive in your order notes and we'll quote accordingly.
Laser-marked anodised aluminium and stainless steel are the starting options for demanding environments. Temperature, chemical and cleaning exposure must be confirmed against your application before production, so send us the operating conditions when resistance is critical.
We can serialise labels against a supplied asset register and review a procurement specification before quoting. Send the required fields, code format, material conditions and any compliance documents so the exact production scope can be confirmed.
You can configure from one label up to 10,000 labels online. A $100 inc GST minimum order value applies and is shown in the calculated quote. Volume discounts apply automatically at the published quantity tiers. Contact us for quantities above 10,000.
Labels are supplied as individual die-cut labels on release liner (sheet format) by default. Roll format on a 76mm core is available for quantities over 500 — specify in the order notes. Backing cards (labels pre-mounted in a card holder for point-of-use dispensing) are available as a custom order. Contact us for volume roll or backer card pricing.
Requirements depend on the asset-management system, organisation and application. Supply your required data fields, barcode symbology and an approved sample or specification; we will confirm the producible label scope before quoting and will not infer compliance from the label alone.
Custom sizes, shapes, layouts, or orders over 10,000 labels — our team can help. We also manufacture nameplates, compliance plates, and interpretive signage.
