For any content that crosses panel boundaries (maps, dashboards, branded graphics, video) fine-pitch LED is the right answer. LCD still wins on price-per-square-metre under 4 m² — above that, fine-pitch usually matches or beats LCD on 5-year total cost of ownership.

Which pixel pitch do I need?

Rule of thumb: closest viewer in metres ≈ pixel pitch in millimetres. If viewers stand 1.5 m from the wall, choose P1.5; at 2 m choose P1.8; at 1 m choose P0.9. Executive boardrooms usually land on P1.5 or P1.8. Broadcast studios and high-end retail typically spec P1.2. Control rooms with heavy data visualisation often spec P0.9 for pin-sharp text at close range.
