Product details

The Sharks Picto delivers AS 2416.1 + SLSA Beach Safety Sign System (BSSS) compliance with the iconic yellow triangle and black shark-silhouette pictogram. Deployed by SLSA clubs during confirmed shark sightings, beach closures, and in known habitat zones (NSW Mid-North Coast, WA southwest).

Polypropylene with pre-drilled cable-tie holes is the standard temporary-deployment choice — mount at beach-entry posts within minutes of a sighting and remove when SLSA patrol re-opens the beach. Marine aluminium suits permanent installations at SLSA clubrooms and high-traffic entry points where durability and visibility matter.

Platinum Signs supplies SLSA-accredited signage across three sizes (300×450 mm to 600×900 mm). Australia-wide delivery in 5–7 days; bulk discounts for clubs and councils; customisation included.

Check the sign format before ordering

Final sign type, wording, size, placement and material depend on the site risk, project specification and applicable jurisdiction. Confirm the requirement with the relevant WHS adviser or regulator.

This is general product information, not legal or engineering advice. A safety sign is one part of a workplace control system; confirm the site and jurisdictional requirements before ordering.
