Product details
An AS 2416.1 prohibition sign displaying a red annulus with PWC/jetski pictogram. Deployed in marine-park no-wake zones, swimming-area exclusions, environmental-protection waterways, and council-managed harbours to restrict high-speed watercraft in sensitive or congested areas.
Material choice depends on environment: polypropylene for freshwater lakes and dams, marine-grade aluminium for saltwater marinas and coastal installations where corrosion is a concern. Four sizes allow flexible positioning across primary access points and perimeter fencing. Lamination and pre-drilled mounting holes are included as standard extras.
Trade customers benefit from bulk discounts and dedicated support. Nationwide delivery from Sydney.
Check the sign format before ordering
Final sign type, wording, size, placement and material depend on the site risk, project specification and applicable jurisdiction. Confirm the requirement with the relevant WHS adviser or regulator.
This is general product information, not legal or engineering advice. A safety sign is one part of a workplace control system; confirm the site and jurisdictional requirements before ordering.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need state marine authority approval?
Public waterways require authorisation from your state regulator (NSW Transport Maritime, QLD MSQ, VIC Transport Safety Victoria). Private moorings and dams don't need approval, but check local by-laws first.
Should I pair this with No Water Skiing?
Yes—most state marine regulators treat jetski and water-skiing as a combined no-wake category. Displaying both signs together fully delineates the restricted zone and reinforces the rule.
What's the best size for a marina entrance?
600×900mm at the main gate or boat-launch area ensures visibility from 20+ metres away. Use 450×600mm for secondary access points and perimeter fencing.
How long does marine aluminium last in saltwater?
Our marine-grade aluminium is anodised and typically lasts 10+ years in coastal conditions. Polypropylene is cheaper but will fade and become brittle after 5–7 years in full sun.
