Frequently asked questions
Where is the best location to mount a Lift sign?
Install it at stairwell exits, corridor intersections, and entrance foyers at eye level (1.2–1.5 m). In multi-storey buildings, position signs at each floor landing to guide visitors to the nearest lift.
Which material is better for a lift lobby?
Colorbond works well in external lift lobbies exposed to natural light and ventilation. Polypropylene is suitable for internal corridors. Both resist the wear from frequent cleaning and hand contact typical in lift areas.
Can I order signs for multiple floors at once?
Yes. Trade accounts receive bulk discounts on multi-floor orders. Provide a floor plan and we'll recommend sign placement and provide a consolidated quote.
How durable are these signs in high-traffic areas?
Colorbond and polypropylene both withstand daily contact and cleaning. Lamination adds extra protection against scuffs and fingerprints — recommended for public-facing areas.
Can I integrate this sign with other directional signage?
Yes. Design a complete wayfinding system with Toilet, Exit, and Level Access signs. Our team can advise on layout, spacing, and consistent branding across your facility.
