How long do temporary window graphics last?

Will temporary graphics damage my windows?

Accepted Answer

No. We use a bubble-free, removable adhesive vinyl that peels off cleanly without leaving residue or damaging the glass. Even after the full 2-year outdoor lifespan, removal is straightforward. Any minor adhesive residue can be cleaned with isopropyl alcohol.

What is the difference between outside and inside-out application?

Outside application means the vinyl is applied to the exterior surface of the glass. Inside-out (reverse print) means the graphic is printed in mirror and applied to the inside of the glass, so it reads correctly from outside. Inside-out has a 20% surcharge but protects the print from weather and vandalism.

What is the maximum size you can print?

Our large-format roll-fed press prints up to 1,600mm wide in any length. For windows wider than 1,600mm, we print in multiple panels with a precise overlap join. The join is barely visible once installed. There is no maximum length.

Can I install temporary window graphics myself?

Accepted Answer

Yes! Our bubble-free vinyl is designed for easy DIY application. Simply spray the glass with soapy water, position the graphic, and squeegee from the centre outward. The bubble-free adhesive allows air to escape, preventing bubbles. We include installation instructions with every order.

What file format should I supply my artwork in?

We accept PDF, AI, EPS, SVG, PSD, TIFF, and high-resolution JPEG/PNG. For best results, supply artwork at actual print size in CMYK colour mode at 100+ DPI. We can also work with RGB files — our RIP software handles the conversion.

How quickly can I get my order?

Standard production is 5 business days from artwork approval. Shipping is calculated at checkout. Fast turnaround (3 business days) is available for +25%, and rush orders (24 hours) for +50%. Transit is typically 1–3 business days for metro areas.

Do you offer design services?

Accepted Answer

Yes. If you don’t have print-ready artwork, our in-house design team can create your graphics. Simple designs start at $50, medium complexity at $100, and complex designs at $150. Select the design option in the calculator when ordering.

When should I choose temporary over long-term window graphics?

Accepted Answer

Choose temporary when: you’re running a seasonal campaign (summer sale, Christmas promo, event countdown), your lease end is within 2 years, you're testing a new brand design, or you change window graphics more than once a year. Choose long-term for permanent shopfront branding, multi-year corporate identity, and anywhere clean removal isn't important because the graphic will stay put.

Can you match a specific Pantone or brand colour?

Yes. Our UV press achieves 95%+ Pantone coverage on adhesive vinyl. Supply your Pantone number or brand-guide reference and we colour-match during pre-press. For campaign runs that refresh every season but use the same brand palette, we hold your colour spec on file so every future order matches batch-to-batch.

Do you deliver Australia-wide?

Yes. Sydney metro via Go Logistics (often next-day). Interstate via Transdirect with tracking — graphics roll into protective tubes for flat, crease-free transit. Delivered Australia-wide. For retail chains rolling weekly or monthly campaign refreshes across multiple stores, we can set up standing freight accounts to lock in rates.

Do you offer installation?

Yes for Sydney metro at $120/hr per installer (2-installer minimum for above-head or above 5m² continuous runs, 3-hour call-out minimum per visit). Temporary graphics are the easiest vinyl type to DIY apply thanks to the bubble-free adhesive. For retail chains running regular campaigns, we offer fixed-price install quotes for multi-site rollouts. Interstate installs routed through our vetted contractor network.

What warranty do you offer?

12-month manufacturer warranty covering clean removal, adhesive stability, and manufacturing defects when applied to approved surfaces per our install guide. Outdoor temporary vinyl lasts up to 2 years on vertical glass; indoor lasts 3-5 years. For shopfronts facing direct afternoon sun, ask about UV-stabilised temporary grade — adds 6 months to outdoor lifespan for a small upcharge.
