2-Pack Spray Painting
A 2-pack — or 2K — coating is mixed from two components: a pigmented resin and a hardener. Once combined, the film cures chemically rather than simply drying, which produces a harder, denser surface than any aerosol or single-pack paint can reach. The result holds its gloss, resists UV, cleaning chemicals and everyday abrasion, and keeps looking specified rather than touched up.
The finish is only as good as what sits underneath it, so preparation carries most of the effort. Board edges are sealed, surfaces are filled and sanded, bare metals get an etch primer, and high-build primer creates a flat base before any colour is sprayed. Application happens in a dust-controlled booth, which is the difference between a smooth architectural surface and a film full of nibs.
Because the paint shop sits beside our cutting floor, parts cut on the fiber laser, CO₂ laser and CNC router can be quoted as finished components — cut, prepared, coated and packed by one workshop instead of travelling between suppliers.

Finishing Capabilities
Most flat substrates from our cutting services can be primed and coated. Each material carries its own preparation route, confirmed at quote stage.
Sign trays, panels, letters and fabricated parts. Etch priming gives the topcoat a proper key on the bare metal.
Frames, brackets and fabricated components coated after welding and edge dressing, so the finish covers the completed part.
Sprayed only after the surface is abraded and primed for adhesion. Tell us if any faces stay as raw stainless.
Cut letters and display parts painted on selected faces, or fully coated where the acrylic is simply the substrate.
Composite panel faces sprayed to a specified colour where the stock coil colours don't match the project palette.

The Process
Five stages, in order. Preparation and cure take most of the time — spraying the colour is the short part.
We confirm the substrate, colour reference, finish level and which faces matter before anything is sanded or sprayed.
Filling, sanding and sealing as the material requires — board edges are sealed, metals are degreased and abraded.
Etch primer on bare metals, high-build primer on boards and repaired surfaces, then a guide sand to a flat base.
The matched 2K colour is sprayed in the booth at the agreed gloss level, with wet-film checks between coats.
Parts cure fully before handling, are inspected against the colour reference, then packed for collection or delivery.
Quote preparation
Tell us the substrate, part sizes, quantity, the colour reference — Pantone, RAL, Dulux or a physical sample — and the finish level: gloss, satin, matte or textured. Say whether the work lives indoors or outside, and which faces and edges are visible in the finished job.
If we are cutting the parts as well, send the cut file with the enquiry and the whole job — cutting, preparation, coating and packing — is quoted as one piece of work through fiber laser cutting, CO₂ laser cutting or CNC routing.
