Description
The industry-standard 250×350 mm pool-side panel format that combines shallow-water depth warning with no-diving prohibition on a single sign. This pairing prevents the most common serious pool injury: head-first entry into water shallower than 1.5 metres. The layered pictograms and "SHALLOW WATER — DO NOT DIVE!" legend make the cause-and-effect relationship immediately clear. Polypropylene construction suits above-ground pools, wading pools, and splash-pads. Mounting holes and lamination options are included to extend service life in wet environments. This is the sign you'll find at virtually every council pool and commercial aquatic centre across Australia.
Final sign type, wording, size, placement and material depend on the site risk, project specification and applicable jurisdiction. Confirm the requirement with the relevant WHS adviser or regulator.

Frequently asked
Why is this specific size (250×350) standard?
The appropriate safety-sign category, wording, placement and supporting controls depend on the product purpose, site risk and applicable jurisdiction. Confirm the requirement with your WHS adviser or regulator; a sign alone does not discharge WHS duties.
Can I use this at residential pools?
Yes. Residential above-ground and in-ground pools with shallow sections benefit from this sign. Many councils recommend it for any facility where the shallow end is less than 1.5 m deep.
Is polypropylene durable enough for constant water splash?
Polypropylene is UV-resistant and chlorine-tolerant, making it ideal for wet environments. Lamination adds an extra protective layer if you expect heavy splash or extended sun exposure.
How many should I order for a typical pool?
Most facilities place one primary sign at the shallow-end entry point and one or two secondary markers at the pool corners. Bulk discounts apply from 5+ units.
Does this replace other diving warnings?
This sign addresses the shallow + diving combination. You may still need separate "No Diving" or "Bombing Prohibited" signs at other pool zones depending on facility layout and depth zones.
