Description
Use this Toxic Sign where the site chemical risk assessment identifies a toxic hazard that people must see before approaching the work, handling or storage area. The verified portrait artwork has a yellow background, a black warning triangle and skull-and-crossbones pictogram, and the exact legend TOXIC HAZARD. The catalogue sizes are 225 × 300 mm, 300 × 450 mm and 450 × 600 mm. Polypropylene is preselected as the practical rigid option for routine indoor and general site use. Self-adhesive vinyl suits a clean, smooth surface; 5 mm Corflute suits temporary placement; and Colorbond steel provides a stronger mechanically fixed face. Optional mounting holes apply only to rigid materials, while lamination and reflective film appear only with a compatible vinyl selection. Position the sign next to the identified hazard or at the normal approach to the controlled area, where the full pictogram and wording remain visible before exposure. Check the view with doors, gates and equipment in their usual positions, repeat the warning at separate approaches when needed, and do not cover required container, pipework or dangerous-goods labels. This is a general workplace warning sign. It is not a GHS hazardous-chemical container label, an ADG Class 6.1 transport label or a substitute for the safety data sheet, chemical register, exposure assessment or controls required for the substance and task. Confirm the chemical classification and use the exact labels, placards, instructions and control measures identified by the current SDS, risk assessment and applicable jurisdiction.
This is a general workplace TOXIC HAZARD warning sign. It is not a GHS container label or an ADG Class 6.1 dangerous-goods label. Confirm the hazard classification, location, wording, labels, placards and supporting controls from the current SDS, site risk assessment and applicable requirements.

Frequently asked
What is printed on this Toxic sign?
The verified portrait artwork has a yellow background, a black warning triangle with a skull-and-crossbones pictogram, and the exact legend TOXIC HAZARD. It warns people approaching a toxic-hazard area identified by the site's chemical risk assessment.
Is this a GHS chemical label or an ADG Class 6.1 label?
No. This is a workplace warning sign, not a replacement for the GHS label on a hazardous-chemical container and not the dangerous-goods Class 6.1 diamond used for transport or placarding. Confirm which identification system the substance and location require.
Where should the Toxic Hazard sign be displayed?
Place it next to the identified hazard or at the normal approach to the controlled work, storage or handling area, where the complete pictogram and TOXIC HAZARD legend can be seen before exposure. Repeat it at separate approaches when one face is not visible from every access path.
Which material and size should I choose?
Polypropylene is the default rigid option. Self-adhesive vinyl suits a clean smooth surface, 5 mm Corflute suits temporary placement, and Colorbond steel provides a stronger mechanically fixed face. Choose 225 × 300 mm for close approaches, 300 × 450 mm for more prominence, or 450 × 600 mm for larger or visually busy approaches. Optional holes apply only to rigid materials.
Does the sign replace chemical labels, an SDS or exposure controls?
No. Keep the correct container and pipework labels, safety data sheets and chemical register current, and apply the isolation, ventilation, storage, handling, spill, emergency, PPE, training and supervision controls selected for the substance and task. The sign supports those controls; it does not replace them.
What volume discounts apply?
Automatic volume pricing is 5–9 signs: 8% off, 10–24 signs: 15% off, 25–49 signs: 24% off, 50–99 signs: 32% off, 100+ signs: 40% off. The configurator is the source of truth and updates the unit price as quantity changes.
