Description
Use this Laser sign to identify a confirmed laser-beam hazard at a laboratory, workshop, manufacturing area, treatment space or other managed site. The approved portrait artwork has a yellow field, a black rounded double border, a black warning triangle with a laser-radiation burst and horizontal beam, and the exact two-line legend LASER BEAM. It has no DANGER or WARNING header, laser class, wavelength, power output, aperture wording, access restriction or eye-protection instruction. Polypropylene is preselected as the practical rigid option for routine indoor and general site use. Self-adhesive vinyl suits a clean, smooth surface and is supplied in packs of three; 3 mm Corflute suits temporary placement; and 0.6 mm Colorbond steel provides a stronger face for mechanical fixing. Choose 225 × 300 mm, 300 × 450 mm or 450 × 600 mm. Optional holes apply only to rigid materials, while lamination and reflective film apply only to compatible vinyl selections. Identify the laser class and accessible-emission information before choosing the sign. ARPANSA describes eight laser classes with different eye, skin, reflection and fire hazards, while its consumer guidance says Australian laser hazard labelling includes the class, power output and wavelength. Those details do not appear on this face, so it must not be treated as a class-specific product label. Plan sign locations from the documented laser-safety assessment, equipment instructions and applicable premises requirements. A general warning face does not enclose a beam, stop a reflection or replace guards, interlocks, shutters, beam stops, access controls, training, procedures, supervision or wavelength-appropriate PPE. Queensland Health also distinguishes warning, explanatory and aperture labels on laser equipment; this LASER BEAM sign is not represented as a complete equipment-label set or as certified to AS 1319 or AS/NZS IEC 60825.1.
This is a generic LASER BEAM warning face, not a complete laser equipment label or certified control measure. It does not identify the laser class, wavelength, output, aperture or required exposure instruction. Confirm the equipment labels, area signage, risk controls and jurisdictional requirements for the actual laser system.

|---|---|
| Polypropylene (1.6mm) | Rigid plastic sheet suited to indoor and sheltered or general outdoor applications, subject to the print finish and site exposure. Indicative service life: Medium-term use; site conditions apply. Typical use: Warehouses, factories, permanent indoor/outdoor. |
| Self-Adhesive Vinyl (Sticker) | Peel-and-stick vinyl for smooth surfaces. Walls, doors, machinery, and equipment labelling. Indicative service life: Short- to medium-term use; surface and exposure affect service life. Typical use: Indoor walls, equipment labels, smooth surfaces. |
| Corflute (3mm) | Lightweight corrugated plastic board. Easy to fix to fences, hoarding, and temporary structures. Indicative service life: Temporary use; exposure and installation affect service life. Typical use: Construction sites, temporary signage, events. |
| Colorbond Steel (0.6mm) | Rigid coated sheet steel suited to demanding indoor and outdoor installations. Print life depends on finish, exposure, edges and mounting. Indicative service life: Long-term substrate; print and site conditions apply. Typical use: Permanent installations, harsh environments. |

Frequently asked
What is printed on this Laser sign?
The approved portrait artwork has a yellow field, black rounded double border, a black warning triangle with a laser-radiation burst and horizontal beam, and the exact two-line legend LASER BEAM. It has no laser class, wavelength, power output, aperture wording, access restriction or eye-protection instruction.
Can this sign replace the labels required on laser equipment?
No. Queensland Health explains that laser equipment labels depend on the device class and include warning, explanatory and aperture labels placed on the equipment. This generic LASER BEAM face does not provide that class- and device-specific information and is not represented as an equipment label.
Which laser class does this sign cover?
The face does not identify a class. ARPANSA describes eight laser classes with different eye, skin, reflection and fire hazards, so do not treat this sign as suitable for every laser or infer a class from the symbol. Confirm the equipment classification and required wording before ordering.
Where should a Laser Beam warning sign be positioned?
Use the documented laser risk assessment, equipment instructions and applicable premises requirements to identify controlled-area entrances and other approaches where a general warning is required. Keep the complete face visible before exposure could occur. The product page does not prescribe a universal mounting height or replace an illuminated warning, interlock or access control.
Which size, material and finish should I choose?
The portrait sizes are 225 × 300 mm, 300 × 450 mm and 450 × 600 mm. Polypropylene is the default rigid option; self-adhesive vinyl is supplied in packs of three for a clean smooth substrate, 3 mm Corflute suits temporary use and Colorbond steel suits a stronger fixed face. Optional holes apply only to rigid materials, while lamination and reflective film apply only to compatible vinyl selections.
What volume discounts apply?
Automatic volume pricing is 5–9 signs: 8% off, 10–24 signs: 15% off, 25–49 signs: 24% off, 50–99 signs: 32% off, 100+ signs: 40% off. The configurator is the source of truth and updates the unit price as quantity changes.
