Caution S.w.l Sign

Description

Communicate safe working load limits with this AS 1319-compliant caution sign. The yellow and black format alerts personnel to the hazard of overloading equipment or structures, preventing injury and property damage on construction sites, warehouses, and manufacturing floors. Available in corflute, polypropylene, colorbond, and vinyl in four sizes from 225×300 mm to 600×900 mm. Add reflective Class 1 or Class 2 coating for visibility in low-light conditions, lamination for durability, or pre-drilled holes for straightforward mounting. Trade accounts unlock bulk pricing on multiple units. Australia-wide delivery is standard. All materials feature UV-resistant inks to maintain clarity in direct sunlight and challenging industrial environments.

Final sign type, wording, size, placement and material depend on the site risk, project specification and applicable jurisdiction. Confirm the requirement with the relevant WHS adviser or regulator.

    Frequently asked

Can I add the specific weight limit to this sign?

Yes. Custom text showing the exact SWL in kilograms can be added. Contact our design team with your load specification for a quote and lead time.

Where do I mount an SWL sign on lifting equipment?

Position the sign on the equipment itself—such as on a chain hoist, crane hook, or beam—where operators will see it before use. Ensure it's protected from abrasion or contact where possible.

What size is typical for a small hoist or trolley?

Available sizes are 225 x 300,300mm. Viewing-distance notes are a practical selection aid, not a substitute for checking the approach distance, lighting, mounting position, wording and site risk assessment.

Is vinyl better than corflute for outdoor storage racks?

Vinyl is more weather-resistant and flexible, making it ideal for outdoor racks exposed to wind and temperature swings. Corflute is adequate for sheltered indoor use.

Do you offer signs for multiple SWL ratings?

Yes. You can order a variety of sizes and custom weights in one shipment. Trade accounts benefit from consolidated delivery and tiered pricing on mixed orders.
