Description
This Do Not Overtake Turning Vehicle sign is the Category 31L legend-only rear marker plate defined in the NHVR's Vehicle Standards Bulletin 12. Its fixed 300 × 100 mm face uses black block lettering on a yellow retroreflective background to warn motorists behind an eligible turning vehicle or combination. It is a regulated vehicle rear marker, not an AS 1319 workplace sign and not a roadside traffic-control sign. The stocked product is 1.6 mm aluminium with Class 400 retroreflective sheeting included in the displayed price. The supplied production plate will carry the small manufacturer or agent name, AS4001.1 reference and reflective-class marking required by VSB12. The clean online artwork is a catalogue representation; those mandatory production markings are applied to the finished plate. Category 31L is one component of a rear-marker arrangement. VSB12 uses it with Category 33 or applicable strip plates and places it on the left-hand side of the rear when a Category 34A plate is not used.
