Description
Use this No Entry sign to prohibit pedestrian access at a door, gate, corridor, plant room, restricted zone or any access point that people must not pass through. The portrait artwork combines the international prohibition format — a red circular band and diagonal slash over a black pedestrian symbol — with the direct NO ENTRY legend, so workers, contractors and visitors understand the restriction on approach. The standard catalogue sizes are 225 × 300 mm, 300 × 450 mm and 450 × 600 mm. Polypropylene is preselected as the practical rigid option for routine indoor and general site use. Self-adhesive vinyl suits clean, smooth surfaces; 5 mm Corflute suits temporary or shorter-term placement; and Colorbond steel provides a more durable rigid face for mechanical fixing. Optional mounting holes apply only to rigid materials. Lamination and reflective-film options apply only where the selected material supports them. Install the sign at the normal approach to the restricted point, where the symbol and full wording can be read before someone reaches it. Check visibility with doors and gates open and closed, and avoid positions hidden by equipment, stored goods or temporary notices. Repeat the message at additional approaches where one sign would not provide adequate coverage. This is a general workplace and site pedestrian-access prohibition sign to the AS 1319 prohibition format. It is not the regulatory road No Entry sign, which prohibits vehicle entry to a carriageway and is supplied as a separate reflective aluminium traffic sign. A sign communicates the access rule; it does not by itself physically prevent entry, and it does not replace barriers, locks, access control, supervision or the other controls identified by the site risk assessment.
This is a general workplace and site prohibition sign to the AS 1319 prohibition format. It supports a site access rule; it does not enforce entry control by itself and is not the regulatory road No Entry sign. Confirm the appropriate sign, wording, placement and supporting controls for the access point with your WHS adviser and the applicable requirements.

Frequently asked
What does this No Entry sign communicate?
It is a prohibition-format sign: a red circular band and diagonal slash over a black pedestrian symbol, with the NO ENTRY legend. It tells people that access on foot through that point is not permitted. It is a general workplace and site-access prohibition sign, not the red-and-white regulatory road sign used to prohibit vehicle entry to a carriageway.
Is this the road No Entry sign for vehicles?
No. The regulatory road No Entry sign is a separate aluminium, reflective traffic sign to the Australian traffic-sign framework. This product is the workplace and site pedestrian-access prohibition sign in direct-print materials. If you need the reflective road version for a carriageway, ask us for the traffic-sign product instead.
Which material and size should I choose?
Polypropylene is the default rigid option for routine indoor and general site use. Self-adhesive vinyl suits a clean, smooth surface; 5 mm Corflute suits temporary or shorter-term placement; and Colorbond steel is the stronger rigid face for mechanical fixing. Choose 225 × 300 mm for close-range doors, 300 × 450 mm for a prominent workplace approach, or 450 × 600 mm for larger sites and longer viewing distances.
Where should the No Entry sign be installed?
Self-adhesive vinyl needs a clean, smooth and dry surface. Rigid Colorbond steel, polypropylene and Corflute signs are normally mechanically fixed to a wall, door, gate or post. Position the sign so the access instruction can be read before someone crosses into the controlled area. Yes. Four-corner pre-drilled holes are an optional extra with a base surcharge of $3.00 inc GST per sign for the listed configurations, before any applicable volume discount. Select the option to update the configured total before adding to cart.
Does the sign by itself stop people entering?
No. A sign communicates the access rule but does not physically control entry. Where the risk requires it, combine the sign with barriers, gates, locks, access control, supervision and the other measures identified by your risk assessment. A sign supports the control; it does not replace it.
What volume discounts apply?
Automatic volume pricing is 5–9 signs: 8% off, 10–24 signs: 15% off, 25–49 signs: 24% off, 50–99 signs: 32% off, 100+ signs: 40% off. The configurator is the source of truth and updates the unit price as quantity changes.
