Description
Maintain facility safety by restricting skateboards and rollerblades with this AS 1319-aligned sign. Suitable for shopping centres, office foyers, public spaces, and recreational areas where wheeled footwear poses a slip or collision hazard. Supplied in corflute, polypropylene, colorbond, and vinyl in four standard sizes (225×300 mm to 600×900 mm). Polypropylene and colorbond withstand UV and weather in sheltered outdoor settings; optional lamination boosts durability. Add reflective Class 1 or Class 2 finishes, pre-drilled holes, and benefit from Platinum Signs' bulk pricing structure and Australia-wide dispatch.
Final sign type, wording, size, placement and material depend on the site risk, project specification and applicable jurisdiction. Confirm the requirement with the relevant WHS adviser or regulator.

Frequently asked
Where should this sign be mounted in a shopping centre?
Position it at entry points, escalators, and pedestrian zones where wheeled devices are prohibited. 300×450 mm and 450×600 mm sizes offer good visibility in busy retail environments.
Does lamination really extend sign life?
Yes. Lamination seals the printed surface against moisture, UV, and minor abrasion, significantly extending colour retention and structural integrity in semi-exposed areas.
Can I mix substrate types across multiple locations?
Absolutely. Many organisations use corflute indoors and polypropylene outdoors to match environmental conditions. Our ordering system supports mixed-substrate bulk orders.
How is this sign different from a generic prohibition sign?
This sign carries the specific prohibition symbol and text for skateboards and rollerblades, meeting AS 1319 format standards for instant recognition and legal clarity.
What's included in the pre-drilled hole option?
Yes. Four-corner pre-drilled holes are an optional extra with a base surcharge of $3.00 inc GST per sign for the listed configurations, before any applicable volume discount. Select the option to update the configured total before adding to cart.
