Description
The Forklift Lane Only No Pedestrians sign enforces exclusion zones where pedestrian and vehicle traffic must remain separate. Compliant with AS 1319, it features the standard red prohibition circle-and-slash over a black forklift pictogram, instantly recognisable on site. Supplied in corflute, polypropylene, Colorbond, or vinyl across four standard sizes (225×300 mm to 600×900 mm). Add reflective Class 1 or 2 for low-light areas, or lamination for extended outdoor life. Holes pre-drilled on request. Trade accounts receive bulk discounts; Australia-wide delivery from Sydney. Order online or contact our sales team for custom quantities and site-specific specifications.
Final sign type, wording, size, placement and material depend on the site risk, project specification and applicable jurisdiction. Confirm the requirement with the relevant WHS adviser or regulator.

Frequently asked
What materials work best for outdoor forklift lane signs?
Corflute suits short-term deployments; polypropylene offers good UV resistance at lower cost. Colorbond (painted steel) and aluminium handle harsh conditions, though Colorbond can rust at fixing points in salt spray. For permanent outdoor warehouse or yard use, polypropylene with Class 2 reflective finish is cost-effective; upgrade to Colorbond for high-traffic or coastal sites.
Do I need reflective finish for forklift lane signs?
Reflective grades provide different visibility performance. Choose the grade required by the project specification and site conditions, and confirm any road, traffic or high-risk requirement with the relevant authority before ordering.
How many signs do I need for a large warehouse floor?
Install at every entry point to the forklift lane, plus at 20–30 m intervals along the lane itself if it runs longer than 50 m. We offer tiered bulk pricing for orders of 5+ units; contact us for a quote on your site layout.
Can I customise the text or layout?
Standard AS 1319 layouts are held in stock for fast dispatch. Custom text or logo placement is available on request; lead times and pricing depend on order volume and artwork complexity.
What's the typical delivery timeframe?
Stock items ship within 2–3 business days; custom orders 5–10 business days depending on material and finish. We deliver Australia-wide; freight is calculated at checkout based on size, weight, and postcode.
