Clearway Sign – At All Times

Description

Use this Clearway sign only where a confirmed private-site schedule calls for the exact visual marker shown. The portrait artwork reads CLEARWAY above a red patch with a white C, followed by AT ALL TIMES. It contains no arrows, operating days, hours, tow-truck symbol, vehicle exception or supplementary panel. The live catalogue lists a 225 × 450 mm portrait plate in 1.6 mm aluminium, but the approved source artwork is near 3:4 while the listed plate is 1:2. The face must not be stretched to fill that plate. Confirm a finished production proof that preserves the complete artwork and resolves any margins before fabrication. The base price is non-reflective, and Class 2 reflective film is the only listed extra. This is a legacy product grade, not a claim of Class 400 construction or equivalence to the current R5-650 series. No drilling, posts, brackets or support system are included. Confirm the mounting surface, support, hole pattern, height and sight line separately for the private site. Do not order this exact artwork as though it were the current authorised NSW public-road design or a lawful replacement for one. Transport for NSW's current supplement adopts the R5-650 clearway series and expressly says the R5-45 Clearway At All Times sign is not used in NSW. Any public-road installation or replacement must use the face, size, reflective construction, authorisation and placement in the current Traffic Signs Register and approved project documents. Where an authorised clearway applies, NSW Road Rule 176 restricts stopping and defines how the controlled length runs from the sign to a different clearway sign, an end clearway sign or the end of the road. This product page does not create that legal restriction, define its extent, authorise towing or approve installation.

This exact older face is not represented as a current NSW public-road clearway sign. Transport for NSW adopts the R5-650 series and says R5-45 Clearway At All Times is not used in NSW. Confirm the current register design, authority, placement and complete traffic arrangement before regulated use.

Frequently asked

What is printed on this Clearway sign?

The approved portrait artwork reads CLEARWAY above a red patch with a white C, followed by AT ALL TIMES. It has no arrows, operating days, hours, tow-truck symbol, vehicle exception or supplementary panel.

Is this the current Clearway sign for a NSW public road?

No current-road approval is claimed. Transport for NSW's current supplement says NSW adopts the R5-650 clearway series and does not use the R5-45 Clearway At All Times sign. Use this exact older face only as a confirmed private-site visual marker. Any public-road installation or replacement must use the current authorised project design.

What size, material and reflective option are available?

The live catalogue lists a 225 × 450 mm portrait aluminium plate. The approved artwork is near 3:4 while that plate is 1:2, so the finished proof must resolve the proportions without stretching the face. The base price is non-reflective. Class 2 reflective film is the only listed extra; it is not represented as Class 400 or equivalent to current R5-650 construction.

Does this sign define the extent of a clearway?

Do not rely on the face alone to set a legal restriction. NSW Road Rule 176 explains that an authorised clearway sign applies along a length of road until a different clearway sign, an end clearway sign or the end of the road. The correct design, position and authority must be confirmed separately.

Are arrows, posts, brackets or mounting holes included?

No. The artwork contains no arrows, and the standard product does not include drilling, posts, brackets or a support system. Confirm the approved direction, sign position, support, hole pattern, mounting height and clearances for the actual site.

What volume discounts apply?

Automatic volume pricing is 5–9 signs: 8% off, 10–24 signs: 15% off, 25–49 signs: 24% off, 50–99 signs: 32% off, 100+ signs: 40% off. The configurator is the source of truth and updates the unit price as quantity changes.
