Description
Industrial-grade No Smoking sign for flammable liquid storage, drum farms, paint stores, and solvent decanting bays—environments regulated by AS 1940. Five substrate choices cater to different visibility and durability needs. Choose Corflute for lightweight temporary site signage; Class 1 high-intensity reflective for maximum visibility (500+ m in headlights) at highway-adjacent fuel installations and refinery perimeters; or Class 2 engineer-grade reflective (200+ m visibility) for warehouse forecourts and internal site roads. Vinyl and polypropylene suit covered storage areas. Sizes range 180×250 mm to 600×900 mm. Optional reflective upgrades, lamination, and pre-drilled holes simplify deployment. Trade accounts qualify for bulk discounts and Australia-wide delivery.
Final sign type, wording, size, placement and material depend on the site risk, project specification and applicable jurisdiction. Confirm the requirement with the relevant WHS adviser or regulator.

Frequently asked
When should I choose Class 1 reflective instead of Class 2?
Reflective grades provide different visibility performance. Choose the grade required by the project specification and site conditions, and confirm any road, traffic or high-risk requirement with the relevant authority before ordering.
Is Corflute suitable for permanent outdoor use?
No. Corflute is lightweight and cost-effective for temporary site demarcation and indoor storage areas. For permanent outdoor flammable liquid storage, use reflective vinyl, polypropylene, or upgrade to Class 1/2 reflective substrates.
Does AS 1940 specify sign size or reflectivity?
AS 1940 requires clearly visible No Smoking signage at flammable liquid stores but does not mandate specific dimensions. Choose a size proportional to viewing distance—larger signs for vehicle approach routes, smaller for equipment cabinets.
Can I combine reflective upgrade with lamination?
Reflective grades provide different visibility performance. Choose the grade required by the project specification and site conditions, and confirm any road, traffic or high-risk requirement with the relevant authority before ordering.
What's the lead time for large reflective orders?
Reflective grades provide different visibility performance. Choose the grade required by the project specification and site conditions, and confirm any road, traffic or high-risk requirement with the relevant authority before ordering.
