Hearing Protection Must Be Worn on This Site Sign

Description

Protect worker hearing on noisy job sites with this AS 1319-compliant mandatory sign. The blue circle and white pictogram clearly communicate that hearing protection is required before entering the work zone. Supplied in corflute, colorbond, polypropylene, and vinyl, available in compact (140×120 mm) and standard (600×400 mm) formats to suit site gates, equipment bays, and office notice boards. Platinum Signs manufactures locally and ships nationwide; bulk orders qualify for trade discounts, with optional reflective and laminated finishes for enhanced visibility and longevity.

Final sign type, wording, size, placement and material depend on the site risk, project specification and applicable jurisdiction. Confirm the requirement with the relevant WHS adviser or regulator.

    Frequently asked

What size should I choose for my site entrance?

Available sizes are 140 x 120mm, 600 x 400mm. Viewing-distance notes are a practical selection aid, not a substitute for checking the approach distance, lighting, mounting position, wording and site risk assessment.

Is lamination worth the extra cost?

Yes, especially in dusty or high-moisture environments. Lamination protects against UV fade, dirt accumulation, and abrasion, significantly extending the sign's readable lifespan.

Can I order just two or three signs?

Absolutely. We accept small orders and charge standard shipping rates. However, orders of 5+ signs unlock trade account pricing—worth asking about if you manage multiple sites.

    Do you supply mounting hardware?

Pre-drilled hole options are available; we can punch corners or edges for bolting or screwing. Mounting brackets and fasteners are sold separately or can be sourced locally.

How long does a sign last outdoors?

Polypropylene and colorbond resist UV better than corflute. With lamination, most signs remain legible for 3–5 years in full sun; unlaminated corflute typically fades within 18–24 months.
