Frequently asked
What's the correct timing for installing and removing this sign?
Install when scaffolding work begins—erection, alteration, or dismantling phase. Remove or replace once the scaffold is tagged as safe and handed over for use by other trades. Never leave it up on a completed, handed-over scaffold.
Is this sign sufficient on its own, or do I need additional barriers?
Signage alone is not sufficient. Combine with physical barriers (fencing, hoarding, or tape) to prevent accidental entry and to demonstrate due diligence under WHS Regulations. The sign reinforces the barrier and provides clear notice.
Can I use the same sign for different scaffold stages?
Yes, this sign applies to any stage where the scaffold is not yet safe for general use. Once the scaffolder issues a completion tag and hands over to the next trade, replace it with trade-specific access signage.
What material is best for outdoor scaffolding sites?
Colorbond or aluminium are most durable in wet and corrosive conditions. Polypropylene is lighter and easier to handle on-site. All three meet AS 1319 and are weather-resistant.
Do you offer bulk pricing for multiple projects?
Automatic volume pricing is 5–9 signs: 8% off, 10–24 signs: 15% off, 25–49 signs: 24% off, 50–99 signs: 32% off, 100+ signs: 40% off. The configurator is the source of truth and updates the unit price as quantity changes.
