Description
No Mobile Phones Allowed conveys a strict prohibition in high-consequence environments—operating theatres, MRI suites, explosive-atmosphere zones, and secure facilities. Unlike Mobile Phones Prohibited, this wording emphasises absolute restriction, making it suitable where enforcement is non-negotiable. Supplied in self-adhesive vinyl or rigid polypropylene at three sizes: 250×180 mm, 300×225 mm, or 450×300 mm. Polypropylene is durable for indoor walls and doors; vinyl suits smooth surfaces. Mounting holes and lamination are optional. Platinum Signs delivers nationwide with trade account bulk pricing and volume discounts.
Final sign type, wording, size, placement and material depend on the site risk, project specification and applicable jurisdiction. Confirm the requirement with the relevant WHS adviser or regulator.

Frequently asked
What's the difference between 'No Mobile Phones Allowed' and 'Mobile Phones Prohibited'?
'Allowed' carries stronger finality and is often paired with strict enforcement in high-risk settings like operating theatres or secure areas. 'Prohibited' is slightly softer and suits general workplace policies.
Which size should I order for a large operating theatre?
The 450×300 mm size is highly visible from distance and suits large rooms. For smaller spaces or doorways, 300×225 mm is standard. 250×180 mm works for tight corners or secondary entrances.
Do you supply signs for explosive or hazardous zones?
This is an information sign, not an AS 1319 hazard marker. For formal Zone 0, 1, or 2 classifications under AS/NZS 3000, consult our Hazard Signs range or contact our compliance team.
How quickly can I get multiple signs for a hospital rollout?
Standard delivery is 5–7 business days. For urgent multi-site orders, discuss express options with our trade sales team—volume orders may qualify for expedited scheduling.
Can I order custom wording or add our facility logo?
Our standard range uses proven designs. Custom text or branding requires a design consultation and longer lead times. Email our design team for a proposal.
What's the best material for a theatre entrance where there's moisture?
Polypropylene is moisture-resistant indoors, but for high-humidity areas like changing rooms, colorbond or aluminium (available via custom order) would be more durable.
