Description
This General Information sign directs visitors to accessible lift facilities, supporting inclusive wayfinding in multi-level buildings. Like other General Information signs, it sits outside AS 1319 regulation and uses a blue or green panel with white pictogram and black text to communicate clearly without implying hazard. Polypropylene 1.6 mm is standard for interior wall and door mounting; colorbond 0.55 mm suits external entrances and weather-exposed areas. Sizes are 225×300 mm (corridors, directories) and 300×450 mm (large foyers, main entrances). Optional holes and lamination enhance durability. Platinum Signs supplies trade accounts with bulk pricing and Australia-wide delivery for multi-site rollouts.
Final sign type, wording, size, placement and material depend on the site risk, project specification and applicable jurisdiction. Confirm the requirement with the relevant WHS adviser or regulator.

Frequently asked
Is this an AS 1319 mandatory sign?
The appropriate safety-sign category, wording, placement and supporting controls depend on the product purpose, site risk and applicable jurisdiction. Confirm the requirement with your WHS adviser or regulator; a sign alone does not discharge WHS duties.
Which material is better for a building entrance?
Colorbond 0.55 mm is recommended for external or semi-exposed entrances where UV and weather are factors. Polypropylene is suitable for protected interior foyers.
What's the best size for a multi-storey building?
300×450 mm is more visible in large foyers and main entrances; 225×300 mm suits mid-level corridors and directory boards. Consider sight lines and viewing distance.
Can I add lamination for extra durability?
Yes — lamination is available as an optional extra and protects the sign from scuffs, moisture, and wear in high-traffic areas.
Do you offer pre-drilled mounting holes?
Yes. Four-corner pre-drilled holes are an optional extra with a base surcharge of $3.00 inc GST per sign for the listed configurations, before any applicable volume discount. Select the option to update the configured total before adding to cart.
Can I order multiple signs for different floors?
Absolutely — trade accounts qualify for bulk discounts across multiple sites. Provide a list of locations and quantities for a volume quote.
