Description
Use this Biohazard Sign where the applicable dangerous-goods requirement calls for the Class 6.2 infectious-substance diamond. The verified black-and-white artwork preserves the complete biohazard symbol, the exact words INFECTIOUS SUBSTANCE and the class number 6; it is not a generic biohazard room warning or a GHS pictogram. The verified catalogue format is 150 × 150 mm. Polypropylene is preselected as the practical rigid option, self-adhesive vinyl suits a clean and prepared smooth surface, and Colorbond steel provides a stronger rigid face for mechanical fixing. Optional mounting holes are available only on rigid selections, and lamination is available only with the compatible vinyl selection shown in the configurator. Position the face on the package, container, storage point, vehicle or placard panel identified by the applicable classification and marking requirement. Keep the complete diamond upright, visible and unobstructed, and do not cover any required UN number, proper shipping name, subsidiary-risk label, packaging mark or other dangerous-goods information. This page supplies the Class 6.2 infectious-substance face only. The sign does not classify a substance or confirm that 150 mm is sufficient for every package, vehicle, load or premises. Check the current Australian Dangerous Goods Code, the competent authority or regulator, the safety data sheet and the consignment or site requirements before ordering and installation.
This is the Australian dangerous-goods Class 6.2 infectious-substance face, not a general biohazard notice or GHS workplace pictogram. Confirm the substance classification, required dimensions, marking or placarding position and every accompanying dangerous-goods requirement for the specific application.

Frequently asked
Is this a generic biohazard warning sign?
No. The verified face is the infectious-substance dangerous-goods diamond, with the black biohazard symbol, the words INFECTIOUS SUBSTANCE and the class number 6. Use it only where the classification and marking requirement call for that exact face; it is not a general room or laboratory biohazard notice.
Which size and material can I order?
The verified catalogue size is 150 × 150 mm. Polypropylene is the default rigid option, self-adhesive vinyl suits a clean and prepared smooth surface, and Colorbond steel provides a stronger face for mechanical fixing.
Where is this infectious-substance sign used?
It can be used on packages, containers, storage areas, vehicles or placard panels only when the applicable dangerous-goods classification and marking rules require the Class 6.2 face. Do not choose it from the setting alone; confirm the substance, package or load requirement first.
Does this sign complete every dangerous-goods marking requirement?
No. The face does not classify the material or complete a dangerous-goods assessment. UN numbers, proper shipping names, subsidiary-risk labels, packaging marks, placards, transport documents and emergency information may also be required for the specific substance, quantity and transport or storage arrangement.
Can mounting holes be added?
Optional holes are available on rigid polypropylene and Colorbond signs. Vinyl adheres directly to a clean, smooth and dry surface. Keep the complete diamond, symbol, wording and class number unobstructed by fixings or surrounding equipment.
What volume discounts apply?
Automatic volume pricing is 5–9 signs: 8% off, 10–24 signs: 15% off, 25–49 signs: 24% off, 50–99 signs: 32% off, 100+ signs: 40% off. The configurator is the source of truth and updates the unit price as quantity changes.
