Description
Use this Fire Hydrant sign to identify the location of an installed hydrant in a workplace, commercial building, industrial facility, car park, shared site or other managed property. The verified landscape artwork has a red field, white border and the exact two-line legend FIRE HYDRANT. It contains no pictogram and no directional arrow, so it is intended to mark the equipment location rather than imply a left, right or straight-ahead route. The verified catalogue sizes are 300 × 225 mm, 450 × 300 mm and 600 × 450 mm in landscape orientation. Polypropylene is preselected as the practical rigid option for routine indoor and general site use. Self-adhesive vinyl suits a clean, smooth surface; 5 mm Corflute suits temporary placement; and Colorbond steel provides a stronger rigid face for mechanical fixing. Optional mounting holes apply only to rigid materials, while lamination is available only with a compatible material shown in the configurator. Install the sign at, above or immediately beside the hydrant it identifies and keep the complete face visible on the normal approach. Check visibility after nearby vehicles, stock, landscaping, doors, notices or building features change. If the hydrant is not visible from a driveway, corridor junction, doorway or other decision point, use separately verified directional signs whose arrows match the actual route.
