Description
This Fire Hydrant & Hose sign combines two critical fire-fighting asset identifiers in one AS 1319–compliant design. The red panel format ensures rapid recognition during emergencies, meeting Australian standards for locations where both hydrants and hose equipment are deployed. Perfect for building entries, equipment rooms, and outdoor fire-fighting zones. Choose from corflute, polypropylene, Colorbond, or vinyl depending on your installation environment and durability requirements. Four sizes available from 225×300 mm to 600×900 mm. All signs include fade-resistant printing; optional additions include pre-drilled holes, lamination, and reflective Class 1 or Class 2 finishes for enhanced visibility. Platinum Signs delivers nationwide with bulk pricing for trade customers managing multiple properties or facilities.
Final sign type, wording, size, placement and material depend on the site risk, project specification and applicable jurisdiction. Confirm the requirement with the relevant WHS adviser or regulator.

Frequently asked
When should I use the Fire Hydrant & Hose sign versus single-asset signs?
Use this combined sign where both hydrant and hose equipment are stored or located in close proximity, reducing clutter and installation points while clearly marking both assets.
Is lamination recommended for this sign?
Lamination adds durability and protects against moisture, UV fade, and minor physical wear. It's recommended for high-traffic areas, outdoor installations, or facilities with frequent cleaning cycles.
What's the difference between Class 1 and Class 2 reflective finishes?
Reflective grades provide different visibility performance. Choose the grade required by the project specification and site conditions, and confirm any road, traffic or high-risk requirement with the relevant authority before ordering.
Can I customise the text or layout?
Standard designs follow AS 1319 specifications. Custom artwork or text modifications are available for bulk orders; contact our team to discuss your requirements and lead times.
What's included with pre-drilled holes?
Yes. Four-corner pre-drilled holes are available as an optional extra. The configurator shows the current surcharge for the selected material and size before checkout.
