Description
Use this Emergency Stop sign immediately above or beside an installed emergency-stop control where the site's plant documentation and competent people call for this exact identification artwork. The verified portrait Type A design has a solid red field, white hand-on-mushroom-button pictogram and the exact two-line legend EMERGENCY STOP, with a rounded black outer border. It has no machine identifier, left or right route arrow, operating procedure, logo or printed product code. The verified catalogue sizes are 225 × 300 mm, 300 × 450 mm, 450 × 600 mm and 600 × 900 mm in portrait orientation. Polypropylene is preselected as the practical rigid option for routine indoor and general site use. Self-adhesive vinyl suits a clean, smooth surface; 5 mm Corflute suits temporary placement; and Colorbond steel provides a stronger rigid face for mechanical fixing. Holes apply only to rigid materials, while lamination and reflective options appear only where the selected material is compatible. Position the sign so the complete pictogram and legend can be seen on the normal approach to the correct emergency-stop control. Keep the control itself immediately accessible and do not cover the button, bezel, machine labels, guards, displays, operating instructions or nearby controls. Confirm the association after machinery, guarding, panels or work-area layouts change; the sign must not direct a person to the wrong control or substitute for machine-specific marking and instruction. This product is the printed identification sign only. It does not include or operate a push button, switch, control circuit, enclosure, wiring, guard or isolator. It does not stop machinery, design or validate a safety function, establish accessibility, perform isolation or lockout, inspect, test or maintain plant, provide an emergency procedure, train operators or certify compliance. Safe plant design, guarding, isolation, commissioning, testing, maintenance, procedures, supervision and training remain separate site responsibilities.
This is a printed identification sign only. It does not supply, operate or validate an emergency-stop control, establish accessibility, perform isolation or lockout, inspect or test plant, or certify the installation. Confirm the site-specific control, marking, position and risk controls with the responsible competent people and applicable regulator.

Frequently asked
What exactly is printed on this Emergency Stop sign?
The approved portrait Type A artwork has a red field, white hand-on-mushroom-button pictogram and the exact two-line legend EMERGENCY STOP inside a rounded black border. It has no left or right route arrow, machine identifier, operating procedure, logo or printed product code.
Does this sign include an emergency-stop button or control?
No. This product is the printed identification sign only. It does not include a push button, switch, control circuit, enclosure, wiring, guard, isolator, installation, commissioning, inspection, testing or maintenance service.
Where should the Emergency Stop sign be installed?
Position it immediately above or beside the specific emergency-stop control confirmed by the site's plant documentation and responsible competent person. Keep the sign and control visible and accessible without covering the button, labels, guards, displays, instructions or other controls.
Does the sign make an emergency-stop control accessible or compliant?
No. A printed sign can help identify the control location, but it does not stop plant, validate the control, establish accessibility or demonstrate compliance. Safe plant design, guarding, isolation, testing, maintenance, procedures and training remain separate responsibilities.
Which material and size should I choose?
Polypropylene is the default rigid option. Vinyl suits a clean, smooth surface, Corflute suits temporary placement, and Colorbond steel provides a stronger mechanically fixed face. The portrait sizes are 225 × 300 mm, 300 × 450 mm, 450 × 600 mm and 600 × 900 mm; choose for the real approach, lighting and nearby visual clutter.
What volume discounts apply?
Automatic volume pricing is 5–9 signs: 8% off, 10–24 signs: 15% off, 25–49 signs: 24% off, 50–99 signs: 32% off, 100+ signs: 40% off. The configurator is the source of truth and updates the unit price as quantity changes.
