Description
This product uses genuine photoluminescent face material. The glow response comes from the specialised material itself, not from pale-coloured standard ink. It charges under suitable ambient light and releases stored light when the surrounding light level falls, without electricity or batteries. Choose self-adhesive photoluminescent film for a clean, smooth and suitably prepared surface. The polypropylene-backed option provides a lightweight rigid sign, while the Colorbond-backed option provides a stronger face for mechanical fixing. All three constructions use the same 350 × 145 mm EXIT format. This is not an electrical exit luminaire. Photoluminescent performance depends on the selected film specification, charging light, charging duration, installation, age, cleanliness and viewing conditions. No fixed glow-duration or certified luminance claim is made until the final production material and its technical documentation are confirmed. For a required building exit-sign location, confirm the approved system and installation with the responsible building practitioner, fire-safety professional or certifier. A photoluminescent sign should not be assumed to replace an electrical exit luminaire solely because it glows in darkness.
