Description
Essential warning for any work near overhead power lines. This danger sign alerts site personnel and equipment operators to the presence of live electrical infrastructure above, reducing electrocution risk on construction sites, during crane operations, and around utility corridors. Meets AS 1319 requirements. Available in Colorbond, polypropylene, and aluminium in three sizes: 225×300 mm, 300×450 mm, and 450×600 mm. Reflective Class 1 and 2 finishes enhance recognition in daylight and darkness. Mounting holes can be added for rapid installation. Bulk orders qualify for trade pricing. Australia-wide delivery in 5–7 business days. Organisations managing multiple sites can consolidate orders for cost savings.
Final sign type, wording, size, placement and material depend on the site risk, project specification and applicable jurisdiction. Confirm the requirement with the relevant WHS adviser or regulator.

Frequently asked
What approach distances apply to overhead lines at our site?
Safe distances depend on voltage: 3 m for up to 132 kV, and 6 m for above 132 kV. Check your site's electrical drawings or contact the local network operator to confirm voltage and adjust exclusion zones accordingly.
Should I use reflective or non-reflective for a daytime-only site?
Reflective grades provide different visibility performance. Choose the grade required by the project specification and site conditions, and confirm any road, traffic or high-risk requirement with the relevant authority before ordering.
How do I secure the sign to a temporary structure?
Pre-drilled holes allow fastening with bolts, cable ties, or screws. For temporary sites, cable ties offer quick installation and removal without permanent damage.
Can I order just one sign or must I buy in bulk?
Automatic volume pricing is 5–9 signs: 8% off, 10–24 signs: 15% off, 25–49 signs: 24% off, 50–99 signs: 32% off, 100+ signs: 40% off. The configurator is the source of truth and updates the unit price as quantity changes.
Do you stock these signs or print to order?
We maintain stock of standard sizes and materials for fast dispatch. Custom colours or large bespoke orders may require 10–14 days; confirm timelines at checkout.
