Danger — 66,000 Volts Sign

Description

Regulation-compliant danger sign for 66kV transmission infrastructure, meeting AS 1319 requirements. Installed at bulk supply substations and transmission sites where workforce safety depends on immediate hazard recognition. Supplied in colorbond, polypropylene, and aluminium in three sizes: 300×450 mm, 450×600 mm, and 600×900 mm. Reflective Class 1 and Class 2 options ensure visibility from distance and in variable lighting. Pre-drilled holes simplify mounting on existing structures. Trade customers benefit from volume pricing, rapid Australia-wide shipping, and the flexibility to specify materials and finishes tailored to your site environment.

Final sign type, wording, size, placement and material depend on the site risk, project specification and applicable jurisdiction. Confirm the requirement with the relevant WHS adviser or regulator.

Frequently asked

Is this sign suitable for outdoor transmission towers?

Yes. Colorbond with Class 2 reflective finish is engineered for exposed transmission environments and withstands UV exposure and weather cycles.

What's the difference between Class 1 and Class 2 reflective?

Reflective grades provide different visibility performance. Choose the grade required by the project specification and site conditions, and confirm any road, traffic or high-risk requirement with the relevant authority before ordering.

Can I customise the sign with site-specific text?

Custom text and logos are available on bulk orders. Contact sales to discuss your requirements and lead times.

What's the typical lifespan of each material?

Colorbond lasts 10+ years in most climates; aluminium 8–10 years; polypropylene 5–7 years. Reflective coating durability depends on UV exposure and maintenance.
