Description
Use this Beware of Dog sign to tell visitors that a dog may be present before they enter a property, yard, work area or other controlled space. The product is for the exact general legend BEWARE OF THE DOG. Production artwork is being finalised and will be checked against that legend before manufacture; the page does not infer a dog breed, behaviour or declared legal status. Polypropylene is preselected as the practical rigid option for routine indoor and general site use. Self-adhesive vinyl suits a clean, smooth surface and is supplied in packs of three; 3 mm Corflute suits temporary placement; and 0.6 mm Colorbond steel provides a stronger face for mechanical fixing. Choose 300 × 225 mm, 450 × 300 mm or 600 × 450 mm. Optional holes apply only to rigid materials, while lamination and reflective film apply only to compatible vinyl selections. Place the sign at a normal entry point where the message can be read before a visitor opens a gate or enters the area. Check visibility with gates open and closed, keep the complete face unobstructed and repeat the notice at separate entrances where one sign cannot cover every approach. Replace a damaged or faded sign and reassess the location when the access layout changes. This is a generic property notice, not a prescribed dangerous-dog, menacing-dog, restricted-dog or guard-dog sign. Those applications can require exact wording, dimensions, materials and placement under state or territory law and local requirements.
