Danger No Admittance Sign

Description

Enforce restricted-area access with a Danger No Admittance sign that signals an immediate life-threatening hazard under AS 1319. The red header and white 'DANGER' text leave no room for misinterpretation, preventing unauthorised entry to confined spaces, active construction zones, or hazardous work areas. Available in corflute, polypropylene, Colorbond, or vinyl in four standard sizes (225×300 mm to 600×900 mm). Lamination, reflective coatings, and pre-drilled holes are optional add-ons to suit your site conditions and installation schedule. Trade accounts receive volume discounts and Australia-wide delivery. Platinum Signs stocks standard configurations and dispatches custom orders within 5–7 business days.

Final sign type, wording, size, placement and material depend on the site risk, project specification and applicable jurisdiction. Confirm the requirement with the relevant WHS adviser or regulator.

    Frequently asked

What's the difference between a 'No Admittance' and a 'Danger' sign?

A No Admittance danger sign combines the AS 1319 danger format (red header, white text) with access restriction, signalling both the hazard level and the prohibition. It's stronger than a warning or caution sign.

How many signs do I need for a large restricted area?

Place signs at every entrance and access point. For a 100 m² perimeter, expect 4–6 signs; larger or multi-entry sites may need 8–12. Consult your site safety plan.

Is vinyl better than corflute for outdoor restricted zones?

Vinyl is more durable outdoors and resists UV fade better than corflute, but Colorbond steel offers superior longevity and impact resistance for high-traffic or vandalism-prone areas.

Can you add a QR code or emergency contact number to the sign?

Yes—custom messaging, QR codes, and contact details can be printed on request. Provide your artwork or text, and we'll quote within 24 hours.

Do pre-drilled holes suit all mounting surfaces?

Yes. Four-corner pre-drilled holes are available as an optional extra. The configurator shows the current surcharge for the selected material and size before checkout.
