Danger Keep Hands Clear Type A Sign

Description

Prevent hand injuries on machinery and equipment with this AS 1319–compliant danger sign. The red header and white 'DANGER' text communicate the immediate threat, meeting Australian standards for hazard visibility at point of entry. Available in corflute, polypropylene, Colorbond, and vinyl; four sizes from 225×300 mm to 600×900 mm fit diverse machine configurations. Reflective Class 1 and Class 2 finishes enhance recognition in low-light workshops. Lamination resists abrasion and moisture on high-traffic machinery. Trade accounts receive volume discounts. Australia-wide delivery within 5–7 business days. Mounting holes are pre-drilled.

Final sign type, wording, size, placement and material depend on the site risk, project specification and applicable jurisdiction. Confirm the requirement with the relevant WHS adviser or regulator.

    Frequently asked

What is the difference between Type A and other hand-hazard signs?

Type A is the standard configuration for general hand-pinch hazards on machinery. Consult AS 1319 or contact our team if your application requires a different type.

Which material resists oil and grease best?

Vinyl and Colorbond resist oil and grease splashes and are easy to wipe clean. Polypropylene also performs well but may require more frequent cleaning.

Can I laminate just one side of the sign?

Standard lamination covers both sides for even protection. Single-sided lamination is available on request; contact sales for pricing.

How do I know if I need Class 2 reflective?

Reflective grades provide different visibility performance. Choose the grade required by the project specification and site conditions, and confirm any road, traffic or high-risk requirement with the relevant authority before ordering.

Do you offer custom text or pictograms?

This sign uses the standard AS 1319 pictogram and text. For custom messaging or branding, contact our design team to discuss options.
