Danger Isolate Drive Before Removing Guard Sign

Description

Guard removal procedures demand clear, immediate communication. This AS 1319–compliant danger sign features the mandated red header and white 'DANGER' text to alert operators before they isolate machinery or remove protective guards. Choose from corflute, polypropylene, Colorbond, or vinyl in four sizes (225×300 mm to 600×900 mm). Reflective Class 1 and Class 2 options improve visibility on factory floors and dimly lit workshops. Lamination strengthens the sign against wear and moisture. Trade pricing available on bulk orders. Australia-wide delivery in 5–7 business days. Pre-drilled holes included as standard.

Final sign type, wording, size, placement and material depend on the site risk, project specification and applicable jurisdiction. Confirm the requirement with the relevant WHS adviser or regulator.

    Frequently asked

What size should I choose for a large production floor?

Available sizes are 225 x 300,300mm. Viewing-distance notes are a practical selection aid, not a substitute for checking the approach distance, lighting, mounting position, wording and site risk assessment.

Is this sign suitable for outdoor machinery?

Vinyl and Colorbond withstand outdoor UV and moisture. Pair with Class 2 reflective finish for visibility in overcast or dawn/dusk conditions.

Can I order samples before placing a bulk order?

Automatic volume pricing is 5–9 signs: 8% off, 10–24 signs: 15% off, 25–49 signs: 24% off, 50–99 signs: 32% off, 100+ signs: 40% off. The configurator is the source of truth and updates the unit price as quantity changes.

How are the mounting holes positioned?

Yes. Four-corner pre-drilled holes are available as an optional extra. The configurator shows the current surcharge for the selected material and size before checkout.

What's the expected lifespan of a laminated vinyl sign?

Laminated vinyl typically lasts 5–7 years outdoors and 8–10 years indoors, depending on UV exposure and cleaning frequency.
