Danger Diesel Fuel Sign

Description

Mark diesel fuel storage and handling areas with this AS 1319–compliant danger sign. The red oval header and white 'DANGER' text meet Australian safety standards for flammable liquid hazards. Platinum Signs produces these signs in corflute, polypropylene, Colorbond steel, and vinyl across four standard sizes (225×300 mm to 600×900 mm). Reflective Class 1 and 2 finishes improve visibility in refuelling bays and overnight operations. Lamination adds weather resistance for outdoor fuel depots. Trade accounts qualify for volume discounts and fast Australia-wide delivery.

Final sign type, wording, size, placement and material depend on the site risk, project specification and applicable jurisdiction. Confirm the requirement with the relevant WHS adviser or regulator.

    Frequently asked

Which material is best for a fuel depot in direct sunlight?

Colorbond steel resists UV fading and chemical splash better than other options; pair it with lamination for maximum durability in high-temperature environments.

Do reflective finishes fade over time?

Reflective grades provide different visibility performance. Choose the grade required by the project specification and site conditions, and confirm any road, traffic or high-risk requirement with the relevant authority before ordering.

Can I order a mix of sizes in one purchase?

Yes. Build a custom order combining 225×300 mm, 300×450 mm, 450×600 mm, and 600×900 mm sizes; bulk discounts apply to total unit count.

What's the minimum order for trade pricing?

Trade accounts typically start at 5 units. Contact our sales team with your organisation details and expected annual volume for a tailored pricing agreement.

How do I ensure the sign stays legible in dusty conditions?

Laminated finishes reduce dust adhesion and are easier to clean. Polypropylene and Colorbond are both good choices; wipe down quarterly with a damp cloth.
